Campaigns in Africa
• Making a grant to the Jos Theatre Company in Nigeria, to enable them to continue their community theatre work which includes children's theatre and HIV/Aids awareness projects.• Campaigning on behalf of performers in Nigeria against the sale of their National Theatre.
• Providing humanitarian aid to members of the Cotton Tree Heritage Theatre Company of Sierra Leone made destitute and exiled, in perilous circumstances, as a result of civil war.
• Raising awareness of the plight of many Algerian artists being systematically persecuted including the translation and rehearsed reading of an Algerian play "Booty" to raise funds for Algerians in exile and the ICAF.
